Last October my mother (the original Jersey Girl) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Last month we walked at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Central park in honor of her and her survival. Breast Cancer affects all of us and we all need to be aware of it, educate ourselves about it and help in any way we can to prevent it.
According to the American Cancer Society, “Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among American women except for skin cancers. The chance of developing invasive breast cancer at some time in a woman’s life is a little less than 1 in 8.”
Throughout the month I am going to be letting you know about companies who are giving back through their amazing products to breast cancer research, awareness and support. So, keep checking back this month to find out how you can give back and get glamorous!
